W’apow mu e,
Bible Clubs were rained out this morning. It was a slow drizzle.
We did some work around the house. I told the boys that I was going to have them wash the lunch dishes for me while they are out of school. When Gilbert heard that, he was ready for school to start right away!
Joe worked on sorting keys today. When we moved in to this house, there was a pile of over 100 keys with no labels on them. Joe and the boys worked on trying the keys in all the different locks. He found a key for every lock except one. (We have several gates and doors, and they all have at least one padlock on them.) I brought a key organizer back with me. Joe got all of the keys that we need put into that. He had the kids take the rest of the keys off of the key rings and put them in a big jar. The kids asked if they could keep some; they thought it was great to have their own set of keys!
The kids helped me make pizza for supper. Bonnie helped me put toppings on the first one, and the boys did the second one. There was not room for everyone to be up at the counter at once.
I don’t know if it is a good thing for our boys to see all of the different Olympic sports. The boys were watching Judo tonight. Danny said, “Gilbert, let’s try that.” Joe was keeping score for them. Danny won by a landslide; he is a strong five-year-old!
Pray for Joe and Danny who are still having a bout with asthma. Bonnie seems to be coming down with a sore throat.
Nantsew yie!
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
