W’apow mu e,
We had a good day at church.  I started out with six in my class and ended up with twenty-six.  There was a good crowd in the auditorium as well.  One boy came forward for the assurance of his salvation; he rides to church with us every Sunday.
The evening service went well too with seventeen in attendance.  After church, we were talking about how to get everyone to Kumasi for a wedding this Saturday.  Bright and Harriett are getting married up there, and some of the church people want to attend.  They are trying to find transportation which won’t charge an exorbitant amount.  We will be going in our vehicle, but we don’t have room for everybody.  Harriett informed me tonight that she wants me to make the wedding cake.  I told her that I didn’t think it would transport very well with the road conditions.  She is supposed to do some checking around up there and will let me know by Tuesday if she needs me to do it or not.  I am not a great cake decorator; this could be very interesting!
On the way home from church, we were talking about the school programs.  Danny was dressed like a shepherd during part of his program.  He held a lamb while they quoted Psalm 23.  Bonnie said, “Danny, you looked like a pajama head when you had that blue dress and hat on.”  Danny told her that he wasn’t a pajama head; he was a shepherd.
The boys were back to wrestling this evening.  Danny had seventy-five points, and Gilbert had ten.
Nantsew yie!
