Bonjour,
This morning when Joe got back from taking the kids to school, there was a group of about twenty teenage girls out in the field playing soccer. In a few minutes, they came up and were shaking the gate. Joe went out to see what they wanted. They wanted water. He told them to go into town to get water. A few minutes later, he looked out the window. The girls had used a stick to pull the clothesline over to the bars and had stolen things off of the clothesline. Joe went after them and retrieved the stolen items. Then, he asked them why they weren't in school. They had decided to skip school today. So, he marched them through the village to the school a mile and a half away. He took them to the headmaster of the school.
I did some cleaning and then tried making some miracle whip. It seems to have turned out okay.
When the kids got home from school, we went to look at some puppies. There were some Rottweiler puppies, and a Boerboel who will have puppies soon. The Boerboel is an African breed that looks like a Mastiff; we are thinking about getting one of those after she has her puppies. The kids were excited and wanted to bring one home today. We want to keep a dog on the porch.
After supper, the boys did their homework. Then, we watched Monk.
Tomorrow, the kids have a half day of school and are out the rest of the week because Freedom Baptist is having a revival. Joe has to go to the border tomorrow to renew the car papers; he is going to Ivory Coast next week for the whole week, but the car papers run out this week. Please pray for traveling safety and for a speedy paperwork process at the border.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
