Bonjour,

Joe took the kids to school and then headed to the border.  He had to go into Ivory Coast to renew the insurance and then come back to do the car papers on the Ghanaian side.  It took almost three hours to get the car papers today.  He got back home about 4:00.
About 9:30, there was a knock at the gate.  Dan had brought Bonnie home.  They said that she could not stop coughing.  I gave her some cough and cold medicine, and she slept for a couple hours.
Dan brought the boys home about 1:00.  They had told us that they would not each lunch at school today since they were out at noon.  So, I just sent a snack for the kids; then, they did have lunch time before they left.  The boys said that they ate the rest of their snack; then, they ate lunch when they got home.
Since Bonnie had already taken a nap, no one took a nap this afternoon.  I let the boys swim.  Bonnie and I were just going to watch, but Bonnie decided to stick her feet in.
When we got back home, Joe was home.  Bonnie fell asleep in my lap.  I gave her to Joe so that I could get supper ready, and they both fell asleep together in the chair.  We could not get them to wake up when supper was ready.  So, we ate without them.  They ate when they woke up.
Joe got too hot today.  He was going to go to bed early.  Just as he was going to bed, the mechanic from Ivory Coast called.  He came with a transmission to fix a vehicle that someone here has.  He called Joe to say that he was at the bus station.  So, Joe picked up one of the guys and went to get Dao from the station.  Dao brought one of his helpers with him.  They were hungry.  Joe stopped to let them eat.  Then, he brought them here; they are staying in the guest room downstairs.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
