W’apow mu e,
Bonnie has been under the weather today. She has a sore throat and keeps saying that her “neck” hurts. Gilbert has a frog in his throat. Danny’s cough is starting to sound a little better. We are trying to get everyone well before we head to Kumasi on Friday for the wedding on Saturday.
It was rainy and cool (in the 80’s) today. Danny wanted someone to play volleyball with him. I went out and played with him for a few minutes. I am not so great at volleyball, but the kids don’t know that yet. : ) It started raining and ended our “game.”
Gilbert went out to check on the birds. He said that they were all out of the box. But, he found a couple of them. Bonnie named one of the birds “Cutie-Cutie,” but that one was missing today. Gilbert named his “Ranger.” He was trying to feed Ranger some bread crumbs this morning.
Joe has been working on getting things ready for the wedding today. I think I got out of making the cake. That is a relief; I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull that one off.
Danny was watching gymnastics on the Olympics today. He was trying some twists and flips of his own. He was proud to inform me that he was doing his flips with a marble between his toes. A few minutes later, he was crying after doing a somersault and landing on his back on top of the marble. Maybe the marble was not such a good idea after all!
I kept the kids at home tonight since Bonnie still wasn’t feeling well and the boys have not been at 100% either. Joe said that church went well.
Nantsew yie!
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
