Bonjour,

This morning, a lady in the church called. She said that her son was
sick and that she needed to take him to the hospital, but all of the
taxis were still on strike. So, Joe and Romeo went to pick them up.
The lady's husband is a famous comedian here in Ivory Coast. He does
not attend church and is unsaved. Joe has talked to him before, but he
has just been quiet. Today, he went to the hospital as well. When Joe
was taking them home, Joe told a story. The comedian started laughing,
and then he started telling stories as well. His name is David Omega.
Please pray for him that he will get saved. His wife and children have
been coming to church faithfully. His wife got saved and most of his
children as well.

Matt's vehicle is back up and running now. Joe took our vehicle back to
the painter today. It will take about a week for him to get it painted.

Lenell needed to look for plumbing parts for her apartment today. Joe,
Romeo, and Alfred (the guy doing the plumbing work) went to look for
parts today. All of the taxi drivers are on strike; the strike is
supposed to end tomorrow. They are striking in hopes that the
government will lower the gas prices. The gas prices here are
government-regulated.

Joe has also been searching for whole-wheat flour for his diet. He
found the warehouse where it is sold today. It took awhile to get the
flour because he didn't know exactly where to go to purchase the flour.

A lady from the Anyama church came to visit us this morning. She lives
in our neighborhood. She and her daughter wanted to see Bonnie. The
little girl wanted to put Bonnie on her back. That is how they carry
their babies here. Her mom told her that Bonnie was too little for her
to carry her around like that.

Gilbert is still trying to think of a way that he can go on an
airplane. He told me today that we just needed to take our passports to
the airport and get the ticket. I told him that Bonnie doesn't have a
passport yet. About that time, Bonnie started crying. Gilbert said,
"Oh Mommy, she's crying because she doesn't have a passport."

Joe took the boys swimming when he got home this evening. When they
came inside, Danny said, "Sleepy." He was ready for bed and didn't even
want to eat supper. After awhile, he decided to go ahead and eat; he
played for a little while before he crashed.

Tonight, Bonnie had the hiccups. Gilbert said, "Bonnie has the hookups."

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
