Bonjour,
Happy Veterans' Day to those who have served and those who are presently serving!
We did school this morning. I think their favorite part is break time. : ) After each subject, Danny wants to know if it is break time yet. He tried to skip one of his subjects today. He has figured out which buttons to push on the computer. I'll have to watch him like a hawk.
Joe and Dan went into Abidjan today. Joe looked all day for a washing machine. He was able to find one.
We had a nice rain storm this afternoon that cooled it off considerably. This is normally the hot and dry season. But, it has rained a couple times here lately.
This evening, Joe was headed out the kitchen door at the same time that Bonnie was trying to come in the door. The door hit Bonnie in the cheek and knocked her down on top of a scooter that was parked on the sidewalk. It grazed her head, but we didn't realize it right away. A few minutes later, Joe brought Bonnie into the kitchen. Her hair had blood in it. We had to wash her head off to see how bad it was. It was already closing back up on its own. So, we just put some antibiotic ointment on it. I fear we have a second accident-prone child.
After baths, we watched Pollyanna with the kids. Danny and Bonnie both fell asleep about half way through the movie. Gilbert almost made it to the end.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
