Bonjour,
The boys did school this morning. Gilbert got to make a clown puppet. Danny always gets upset when Gilbert has a project and he doesn't.
Joe worked on sorting barrels today. He found the barrel with my cooking utensils, silverware, and cookbooks. Hooray! Now, I just need to find a place for everything. I worked on washing it all today.
The boys didn't think they needed a nap today, but we told them that they did. We haven't been making them take one every day, but they needed it today.
Bonnie got a doll right before we left. When she goes to bed, she has to have not just the doll but the bottle, sippy cup, pacifier, and shirt that goes with the doll. Last night, she fell asleep in Joe's lap; her doll was in the living room. She came in to our room about 1:00 A.M. and said, "I need my doll." I found the doll. Then, she needed all of the accessories. She checked to make sure that nothing was missing. Then, she said, "Go back to your bed, Mom. I don't need anything else." She is a little stinker.
After naps, I did some more work in the kitchen and got supper ready. I started feeling dizzy. I think it was just from getting too hot and not drinking enough water. I have rested this evening and had lots of water and am feeling better. Joe and the kids went over to the Posts' house to watch Apple Dumpling Gang.
Tomorrow night, we are going to the Litsons' house for a party for Samantha's birthday. We are going to spend the night there and go to the Litsons' church for their anniversary service. That is the church where we were working before we returned for furlough. So, you may not hear from us tomorrow.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
