Bonjour!

This morning, Joe went visiting. They found several people at home today.

Gilbert played while I worked on more papers for my class.

This afternoon, Gilbert took a nap. Jerome, a man in one of the churches here that helps people with their paperwork, came by this afternoon to get my passport and Gilbert’s passport and the other paperwork to take to immigrations on Monday. We are getting a three-month extension on our visas so that we don’t have to travel until after the baby comes.

Joe worked on a mid-term exam for one of his classes. Then, he had an appointment at 3:00. The guy that they were supposed to meet was not home.

When Gilbert woke up from his nap, he wasn’t quite sure if he was ready to wake up. He sat in my lap and almost went back to sleep.

I got supper ready before the power went off. It went off promptly at 6:00 this evening.

When the power is off at night, Gilbert likes to go down the dark hallway and wait for Joe to come and scare him. He runs from Joe and laughs and laughs. He wore himself out tonight. He climbed up on the mattress on the living room floor and almost went to sleep. That is our bed when the power is off. So, we had to put him to bed before he fell asleep in our bed!

A demain,

Joe, Laura, and Gilbert

P.S. In this picture of Gilbert, you can see his haircut as well as the remains of his chocolate donut. : )
