This morning, we went into town. We had several errands to run. It started raining just as we left the house. It came down pretty hard for awhile. Some of the streets in the market area were flooded and had to be closed; that caused some traffic jams.

At one place, I got out to get flour. They had a bucket on their steps to catch the water coming out of the gutter. On my way back down the steps, the back of my dress went into the bucket. I was quite wet!

We went grocery shopping. Then, we had to get passport photos made of me and Gilbert to apply for an extension on our visas. Gilbert was just itching to play in the puddles!

Gilbert and I both took a nap this afternoon. This evening, I have been working on papers for my English class. Joe and Gilbert watched a movie.
