This morning, I woke up at 6:30. After waking up, I read my Bible, then typed the blog since I had forgotten to last night. After getting ready for church, I went downstairs. Once I was downstairs, I waited for Prince to get to the house so we could go round up the kids for the bus route.
Once Prince got to the house, we headed out. We did not have a whole lot of kids come today, but we did have three come! We had a good Sunday school hour, and Bro. Arhin taught a good lesson in Jr. Church. Once the services were over, I road back to the village with the bus kids. Once I got back to the house, I got the grilled fired up and started baking the potatoes for lunch. Once the Ruckmans got to the house, we sent Mrs. Angie to the room while Bro. Ruckman and I prepared the Mother’s Day meal. Everything ended up tasting very good, even though Mrs. Angie did not do any of the cooking.:)
We had a good afternoon. After resting, we were off to the church. I sang a special. It could have been better, but I think I did okay for having only minimal practice. We also had a great message preached by Bro. Ruckman. After the service, we had a brief meeting; then, we all headed home. Bro. Ruckman took a couple home, and then came back to pick up Prince and me. While we waited for Bro. Ruckman, I had a fun time talking with some of the children from the church. Once Bro. Ruckman and Mrs. Angie got back, we went home.
We had leftover pizza for supper. I am now in my room about to take a shower before heading to bed. Again, a special HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all the Mothers who may be reading this!
