A visit to Shama, a Haircut, and a Delicious Supper

This morning, I woke up at 6:40. After waking up and reading my Bible, I got ready and headed downstairs. Bro. Ruckman was just finishing breakfast when I got down there. Once he had finished eating, he headed up to his room for a bit. While he was up there, I made some breakfast and got all my stuff ready to go. Once Bro. Ruckman was ready, we headed out. On our way, we picked up Bro. Arhin, who wanted to go with us to Shama.

Our reason for going to Shama was that we had a well driller drilling a well for Pastor Augustine on his new church property. It is amazing to see what the Lord is doing there in Shama. If you would like to learn more about what is going on in Shama, Bro. Ruckman posted some video updates on his Facebook page. (It may be hard to hear them over the sound of the well being drilled, but you can still get some understanding.) I was able to fly my drone around for a while; then, we stayed for about an hour before heading back to the house.

Once we got back to the house, we had an early lunch before heading over to the mall to do some stuff. While we were there, I was able to get a haircut. Once we finished, we headed home to rest on what was supposed to be our “rest day.” 😂

After resting a while, it was time to get started on some supper. Bro. Ruckman had bought some fish and had Pastor Prince bring them by the house for us. We season them up and cooked them to near perfection. While Bro. Ruckman and I worked on the fish, Mrs. Angie outdid herself by making delicious hush puppies and some tartar sauce for the fish. I’ll just tell you now that no one would have liked what we had for supper. 😉

After supper, we watched a show for a little while before heading up to our rooms for the evening. I have just taken a shower and am now lying in bed. I plan to wake up a bit early tomorrow to get my Fante homework accomplished before classes start at 9:00 A.M.

  1. Sounds like a fishy rest day, but fun. I remember your dad talking about Shama. Have a good day tomorrow too. Love ya.
