Missionary on Fire Podcast

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

I felt very lazy today, probably from the late night. I did do some drawing, but not much. I did a few exercises and a few other things throughout the afternoon.

Some of the kids from the church came for a visit; so after they had been here for an hour or two, Bro. Ruckman and I drove them back home. On our way back to the house, we stopped at the grocery store for some icecream and then headed to the house. When we got home, we had a little while; then we had the Kenneys over for supper.

We had a really good time playing games and fellowshipping. It is always fun to get together with friends. I came up to my room around 11:30 P.M. The Kenneys are still here, but it is way past my bedtime. I need to get back to my regular sleep schedule. Once I am done with the blog, I will be getting cleaned up for the night and heading off to sleep.

I read online about the street festival. It is the largest in Africa. I was wondering about the color choices for their costumes. Also why they wore USA head coverings and waved Old Glory? Very interesting. We had a good lazy day. The peas and cabbage were delicious. Papa made cornbread. We only worked a little on my kitchen. Eli went home to get back to work. So we were missing you, Eli, and Rachel. Have a good day tomorrow. We love you and are praying for you.
