Bonjour,
I am feeling better this evening after being sick all day. Joe and the kids stayed home with me this morning. I was still vomiting. Joe was worried that I might pass out or something while they were gone. For Sunday school, I had the kids sit next to the bed and tell me Bible stories. I helped them out when they couldn’t remember or didn’t have it quite right. Then, we listened to a Bible DVD.
Joe made potato soup for lunch. Then, we took naps.
After naps, the kids were playing out on the screened-in porch. Bonnie came in to tell me about a millipede that she saw. She said, “Mom, do you like limipedes?” I told her that I didn’t. She said, “Well, I like them. I talked to him and told him to stay outside. But, he didn’t talk to me, Mom.”
Joe and the kids rode to church with the Luthers tonight. I slept the whole time they were gone.
Joe talked to the mechanic today. The head was not delivered last night; so, it should be delivered sometime Monday. Joe is going to ride with Charlie Luther to Accra in the morning. On the way back, Charlie will drop Joe off in Cape Coast to check on the vehicle. If it isn’t finished, Joe is just going to stay in Cape Coast until it is done. We are planning to go to Kumasi on Thursday if all goes well with the vehicle.
The water truck did not come on Friday. They said that there is a water shortage because it is the dry season. We have enough water to last a few more days. Please pray that the water truck is able to come soon. All laundry is on hold until we get more water.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
