Bonjour,
Joe left the house early this morning to take the vehicle to be inspected. It failed once again. He took the vehicle to the mechanic. Matt picked him up from the mechanic to go visiting.
They visited the family of a sixteen-year-old girl that died on Saturday; she tried to give herself an abortion. She had been to church a few times, and her younger sisters come faithfully.
The mechanic took the vehicle again this afternoon to be inspected. We found out why the vehicle continues to fail. The technicians apologized profusely to our mechanic. They said that the vehicle should be passing the inspection, but the boss is upset. He thinks that because it is a white person’s vehicle that we can afford to paint the vehicle and replace the engine. The paint job is not a violation, and he cannot put that on the form. But, that is why he is continually failing the vehicle. We did replace the engine last year. We had planned to get the vehicle painted, but after paying for the repairs and four inspections, there are no funds left for paint at this time.
The mechanic is going to take it to the inspection place in Bassam tomorrow. He has already spoken to the boss there and explained what has been happening. The boss there said that if the technicians here said that it should be passing that it should pass without a problem there.
Danny hasn’t felt well today. So, I kept him home this evening. Gilbert and Joe rode with the Litsons to church because our vehicle was still with the mechanic. They had a good service.
A demain,
