Bonjour,

Joe headed back to Cape Coast this morning.  The head was coming in a different vehicle.  He waited around Cape Coast for a little while and then came home.  He rode a public transport van again.  They sat still for an hour and a half waiting to fill up the van; there was just one empty seat left. Joe told them he would pay the $2.00 for the empty seat if they would just leave.  He was sweating up a storm after sitting in an unmoving vehicle for that long.  They were off as soon as they got the money for that last seat.

Last night when Joe was emptying his bag at the guest house to do some laundry, he discovered that someone had put money in his bag.  He couldn’t withdraw as much as he needed the other day, and Brother Luther had withdrawn some for him.  The money in his bag was the exact amount that we had borrowed from Brother Luther.

Joe got home during nap time.  Gilbert was up and greeted Daddy at the door.  When Bonnie woke up, she came walking out of our her room.  As soon as she saw Daddy, it turned into a run.  She ran to Joe and jumped up on him.  She put her head on his shoulder and gave him kisses.  Danny was happy to see Daddy when he got up too.

We went up to the Luthers’ house for a little while.  Then, we came home for supper.  After supper, Joe played with the blocks with the kids.  Danny wanted to make a gun.  Bonnie wanted to make a castle.  After they got her castle built, she said, “Don’t touch the electric fence, Mom.”

Brother Luther is going to take Joe and me into Takoradi in the morning to run a few errands.  Mrs. Luther and April are going to keep the kids for us.  After we get back, Joe will head back to Cape Coast by public transport to go check on the vehicle.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
