Bonjour,
Joe had quite a day. This morning, after trying several things, they decided that the head that they had just installed wasn’t any good. After making several phone calls, Joe decided to go to Accra himself. Michael, a man from Brother Widener’s church, went with him. They rode on a public transport van to Accra; that was quite an adventure! They went back to the place that had sold them the head. That man didn’t have any other heads, but he said that he had a friend who had three different heads. The friend never came. Joe told them that he wanted his money back, and he got it. The mechanic in Takoradi put Joe in touch with someone else that has a head, but he had to wait until tomorrow to meet up with them. So, he spent the night in Accra. Please pray that he will be able to get a good head tomorrow and that the vehicle will be back in working order soon.
We started school with the DVDs this morning, but the power went off after our first subject. So, we just did pages. The kids went up to play at the Luthers’ house for a little while.
After naps, we had supper. Then, we rode to church with the Luthers.
The kids are missing Daddy tonight. Bonnie keeps crying. Gilbert said, “I wish Dad would have taken Bonnie with him.”
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
