Bonjour!
This morning, two of the Bible Institute students came to wash our vehicle. They ride to church with us. We park under a tree that constantly sheds little yellow flowers all over the vehicle. On Wednesday night, those two men told Joe that they wanted to wash the vehicle for him. After they washed the car, Joe fixed a big plate of Thanksgiving leftovers for each of them. They enjoyed that!
I worked on the final exam for my English class. Joe and I will both give our finals on Monday. The guys wanted to take Joe’s test on Monday so that they wouldn’t have to come on Tuesday.
After naps, we went into town. We went to the main post office to pick up a package. Packages can be picked up until 4:00. We got there at 3:40. They told Joe that he was too late. He told them that it wasn’t 4:00 yet. He ended up having to speak to the postmaster to get the woman to give him the package. We finally got the package. It was a baby blanket from one of our supporting churches.
We went out to the Taylors’ house to look at the generator. Joe wanted to see how big it is so that he would know how many people he will need to help move it and what will be needed to transport it. Brother Taylor will be coming in this week. So, we should be able to get it toward the end of the week.
This evening, Gilbert wanted to take a bath. He was saying, “Bath, bath!” Joe said, “If you want to take a bath, clap your hands.” Gilbert clapped his hands. Then, Joe said, “If you want to take a bath, sing ‘Burdens are lifted at Calvary.’” Joe started singing. When he got to the first “Calvary,” Gilbert sang it.

Later, Gilbert dropped one of his books down inside the box in which the baby blanket was mailed. It was his Old McDonald’s Farm book. The book went too far down in the box for him to reach it. So, he started saying, “E-i-E-i” to the book. I got it out for him; he was so happy.
