Bonjour!
Joe got up early this morning to put a chicken on the rotisserie in the oven. Then, he baked the dressing.
I started on the rolls. Then, I worked on the other preparations.
The Davises arrived a little before 1:00. We were supposed to eat at 1:00, but the Wideners didn’t arrive until almost 1:30. We ate shortly after they got here.

Gilbert had fun with the Widener children. He played outside with Jonathan most of the afternoon. He was walking around the house calling Jonathan’s name.
Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Widener both took turns holding Danny. Mrs. Davis got him to go to sleep.
The food was delicious. We have plenty leftover! We had a good time of fellowship. The company left around 7:00. Now, we are just taking it easy.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
