Bonjour,
We had a rainy day today. It rained all morning and most of the afternoon.
Gilbert seems to be feeling better today. Bonnie is sneezing, but I think it might be allergies. We did school this morning. Danny had a hard day with school today. He just didn't want to do anything. After a couple attitude adjustments, we made it through.
Joe went to Aiyinasi this morning to get the stuff that Dan had brought in his vehicle for us. When he got back, he went in search of gas for our gas bottles. There is no gas anywhere in Ghana. He did get my dryer all hooked up, but it is a gas dryer; so, now, we just need a gas bottle. I did use my washing machine today. I did one load just to try it out. That load is hanging all over the kids' bedroom, still not dry. Oh well, we will have that dryer up and running soon.
A little before 9:00, Gilbert said, "Miss Kristine must be sleeping tight, Mom, because we haven't seen her yet." She came upstairs a few minutes after that. She spent the day with us. This morning, she helped me get all of my kitchen stuff washed and put away. This afternoon, we made cheesecake. It is in the refrigerator chilling. It looks good!
After supper, we played Cadoo. It is a fun kids' game by the makers of the game Cranium. We all enjoyed that. Now, we are watching a movie, Kate and Leopold. Kristine hadn't seen it before.
Joe went to bed early. He isn't feeling very well. He skipped lunch today because he lost track of time. Hopefully he will feel better in the morning.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
