Bonjour,

Our internet has been down since Friday.  We are back up and running today.  I will try to bring you up to date on the recent happenings.
On Friday, Joe and Papa went into town to run errands.  Nana did some sewing.  I helped her cut some things out.  She is making curtains to cover the bars on the windows.  The kids were taking turns sitting under the table pushing the sewing machine pedal for Nana.  I did some baking.
In the afternoon, I wasn't feeling very well.  I had a bad headache.  After I rested for a while, I felt better.  We all went to Captain Hooks for supper.  Captain Hooks is a good seafood restaurant.  We got some big fish platters and shared them.  As we were waiting for the bill, the waitress picked Bonnie up and said, "I'm going to take you home," as she walked away with Bonnie.  Danny heard that and was about to tackle the lady; he wasn't going to let anyone take his sister away!
On Saturday morning, Joe and Papa went visiting.  Nana came to Bible Club with us.  We started out with seven and ended up with nineteen.  After we finished, about twenty more children came to play in the field.
For supper, I made chicken chimichangas.  That is one of Joe's favorites.  Everyone liked them.  I also made cinnamon rolls for Sunday morning breakfast.
We had a good day at church on Sunday.  Nana came to Sunday school with me and the kids.  My class is back up in numbers; we had twenty-seven by junior church time.  Half of them were three and under; we had quite a time!  In the morning service, Nana and Papa both gave a testimony.  The people all stood and said, "Akwaba" to them, which means "Welcome."  Joe had a meeting with one of the men after church.  Then, we headed home.  The chicken had to bake a while longer, but I got everything else ready while it baked.
After naps, we went back for the evening service.  We had a good service with eighteen in attendance.  Joe preached a good message about Gideon.
After the kids went to bed, we got a few more games of Monopoly Deal in.
This morning, we took some family pictures in our yard.  Then, we went into town.  Joe's dad wanted to find some African woods to take back to use in his wood shop.  We also had to get juice for the kids' lunches and cleaning supplies; school starts tomorrow.  Papa ventured into the market circle with me to get some more Velcro for the curtains that Nana is making.  He said he was content to just stay in the car, but Nana told him that he really needed to experience the market.
Nana and Papa leave on Wednesday night.  We will be sad to see them go, but we are so glad that they were able to come.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
