Bonjour,
Joe took the kids to school this morning. Danny was crying about Nana and Papa leaving. Joe told the teacher that they were leaving today and that Danny might have a rough day.
Joe and his parents left the house at 9:00 to head toward Accra. It was sad to say goodbye. We really enjoyed their visit.
They picked Mack Siekbert up and then headed toward Accra. They got stuck in traffic outside of Accra and sat still for a couple hours. But, they made it around 4:00. (It is a four-hour trip when there is not any traffic.) They ate at the mall and then went to the guest house for a little while. Then, they headed to the airport. Their flight should be taking off about now.
Joe and Mack will do some running around in the morning. Then, they will help pick up the Luthers' luggage tomorrow afternoon at the airport. Joe and Mack plan to head home early on Friday.
I just took it easy today. I did some laundry and read.
Dan brought the kids home in a taxi after school. Gilbert was worried about riding in the taxi, but he said that it was fun.
The kids played outside while I got supper ready.
We sang some songs and read a Bible story. The taxis quit running after dark; so, we weren't able to go to church tonight.
The boys were both asleep soon after they hit the pillow. It takes Bonnie a while to wind down.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
