Bonjour,
This morning, the kids had a rough start. They all bawled when they got in the taxi to go to school. When they got home, they said that they stopped crying before they got to school. They had a good day at school.
I worked on our quarterly report this morning and got some laundry done too.
Joe and Mack had a good day in Accra. Joe took Mack to some of the stores that the Aarons showed us. Mack was impressed. They had to suffer and go to KFC for supper followed by the Italian ice cream place. The Luthers' flight was cancelled; they will now arrive tomorrow morning. So, Joe and Mack will meet them at the airport and help them with their luggage. Then, Joe and Mack will head this way.
I was patching a hole in Danny's pants this evening with the sewing machine. Gilbert decided to try his hand at sewing. He did pretty good for his first attempt. He kept unthreading the needle.
The boys read to me after supper. Danny had reading circle for the first time today. They are working on blends right now. Gilbert said that he hasn't been getting to read much at school; so, I had him read several pages to me tonight.
After we talked to Daddy on the phone, the boys went right to sleep. Bonnie keeps thinking of another reason to get out of bed. She takes a nap at school, but the boys don't.
Nana and Papa should be back in Houston now if all went well.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
