Bonjour,
This morning, the carpenter came to see about putting a door on the pantry. The door that we had wasn’t quite the right size; so, he will have to make some adjustments. He was supposed to come back later in the day to do that, but he didn’t come back.
Our dog, Pokey, has been having trouble with flies biting his ears. There was blood everywhere, and we couldn’t get the bleeding to stop. One of our guards took the dog to the vet. The vet gave us some powder to bathe the dogs in, but he didn’t do anything to stop the bleeding. Joe finally got something clamped on the dog’s ear to stop the bleeding.
The boys had to play inside today since Pokey was getting blood everywhere outside. Danny cried each time that the door opened and he wasn’t allowed to go out.
I took both boys on the walk today. Gilbert went to play with the girls while Danny and I went home to get supper ready.
We had a storm tonight that knocked the power out. The power is still off, but we are using the generator.
