Danny’s class came back in with their caps and gowns. They did some more things that they had learned – special sounds, poems, etc. Danny recited a poem entitled “Shoes” by Tom Robinson. We were not allowed to take pictures during their performance because people kept walking up to take pictures, and it was a distraction. We could take them at the beginning and then at the end.
They handed out a few awards before they gave out the K-5 diplomas. Gilbert won one of the two Christian Character awards for the whole school. Danny started to cry because he thought he was not going to get a paper.
Danny receiving his diploma
Madame Selina, Danny’s teacher, got teacher-of-the-year award. Danny jumped out of his seat to cheer for her. He really likes his teacher!!
Brother Morgan and Gilbert
Danny and Juliet were examining their diplomas.
They had to stay seated on the platform until everyone was done taking pictures.
Bonnie and the brothers – Bonnie wanted to know why she didn’t get a certificate.
