Bonjour,
This morning, we headed into Abidjan to take Bonnie back to the doctor
for a follow-up visit. He said that she still has a little bit of
laryngitis. He prescribed a medicine for cold and allergies today to
make sure that she gets over this completely. She also has the diarrhea
from the antibiotic. He prescribed some medicine for that as well. She
was having bad stomach cramps last night and was screaming.
Joe usually goes visiting on Saturday mornings, but since we had to take
Bonnie to the doctor, he wasn't able to go today. Since we were already
in Abidjan, he thought it would be nice to let the boys play for awhile.
Awhile back, one of the stores burned down. They rebuilt it. It is
very nice. It has a parking garage underneath the store. Orca is on
the bottom two floors. The top floor has a big play area and other
little shops. There is also a restaurant on that floor. The play place
has an airplane that has a slide coming out of it. Gilbert sat and
drove that airplane for a long time. He thought it was great. He
didn't think it was so great when Danny wanted to be the driver. Bonnie
slept while the boys played.

We tried out the restaurant there. The boys had hamburgers, and I tried
a different sandwich. The food was very good.
We headed home after lunch. I sat in the back with the children. I
tried to keep the boys busy so that they wouldn't fall asleep in the car
and not take a nap when we got home. They stayed awake. When we got
home, Bonnie woke up. Joe stayed up with her while the rest of us took
a nap.
Tonight was the last night for the evangelistic campaign in Anyama. The
film that they were supposed to show tonight wouldn't work. So, they
showed the second part of the other film again. The people didn't seem
to mind. Joe said that there were about 350 people there tonight.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
