Bonjour,

The mechanic was supposed to come at 8:30 this morning. He got here
around 10:30. Just one came today. He actually had the right parts and
had everything back together in about 45 minutes. Then, they had to
take it into town to weld new brackets for the radiator.

Joe drove our vehicle home this evening. The clutch still needs some
adjustments. The mechanic brought Matt's vehicle home after dark. So,
Joe will have to drive it tomorrow to see how it is running. So, we
made progress today!

I did some sewing this morning. Joe worked in the office until the
mechanic had our vehicle ready to take it to Anyama. The boys were
playing outside. Gilbert came running in the door yelling, "Daddy,
there's a snake! A snake! That snake scare me!" Joe went running
outside. We had someone working out in the yard this morning. Gilbert
had shown him the snake before he came to tell us. So, Julian had just
killed the snake when Joe got there. It was a black mamba. Gilbert
remembered what Daddy had told him to do if he saw a snake; we were glad
about that!

The boys and I took a nap. Joe got home just before supper. He took
the boys swimming for a little bit while I got supper ready.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
