Bonjour,

Not much went on in Abidjan today.  People were afraid to get out after the shooting yesterday.  They are relying on the international community to get Gbagbo to step down.
We did receive word from the US Embassy today that they are sending all non-essential personnel out of the country.  They are encouraging American citizens to leave or to have a plan of action if leaving becomes necessary.  For right now, we are just staying put and waiting to see what happens.  The roads are still blocked in our area.
The boys did school this morning.  They were excited that it was the last day before the break.
After supper this evening, we went over to the Posts and talked for a while.  The kids watched cartoons and had a good time.  Bonnie came out every once in a while to make sure that we hadn't left her there.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
