Thanksgiving Service and Relaxation

This morning, I woke up at 7:20. I read my Bible, and once I had finished that, I got ready for church. After I had gotten ready, I got a text from Mrs. Ruckman saying that breakfast was ready on the table. I went downstairs and ate breakfast, then headed back up to my room.

Bro. Ruckman and I left the house at 8:40. When we got to the church, I had to fix the sound system. All of the cords were plugged into the wrong thing; so I had to get everything put back in order. I was able to get everything back together and working, thanks to the pictures I took the day we set everything up properly.

The service went very well, and I think I am starting to get the hang of the sound system. Bro. Ruckman said he was able to hear everything clearly and that the piano sounded really good during the singing. After the main service and the invitation, we had the thanksgiving service. Some of the men from church presented Sammy and Annette with a wedding gift. After they had presented the gift, they did group photos.

WE SHALL WEAR A CROWN!!! Everyone sang this song from their heart.

Once everything was finished up at the church, we headed home. We had the entire afternoon and evening to rest and relax. We did not have church, but we did listen to a Christ Is Conference. It was really interesting to listen to. Once we had finished that, we all chatted in the living room for probably an hour and a half. We had some laughs and enjoyed the evening. It has been a very busy week; so it is nice to relax a little.

I am now in my room preparing for my shower. Once I have showered, I will be going to bed. I am certain I will sleep well tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚
