Bonjour,
The mechanic’s apprentices came to put our clutch and radiator back in
today. The new radiator was about an inch too tall. So, they will have
to weld new brackets on once they can get the vehicle into town. Some
of the clutch parts that they had purchased a couple weeks ago had been
stolen. So, they worked on trying to put pieces that didn’t really fit
on all day so that they could at least get it into town. Joe finally
took them back to town in a taxi and said that we just needed to wait
until they had the real parts.
Gilbert and Danny were outside most of the morning. They wanted to get

The mechanic worked on Matt’s vehicle all day. He was getting close to
being finished. Joe stayed for a couple hours, but they still weren’t
done. So, he came back home for supper. Maybe they will get both
vehicles back up and running tomorrow.
Lenell and Tammy had given us money to go spend the night somewhere.
Lenell was going to keep the boys. That was supposed to be tonight.
Since we are without a vehicle, we postponed it until next Monday.
Plans usually change in Africa; so, we just have to be flexible.
