Bonjour!
This morning, I taught my literature class. The boys were both cranky this
morning. Joe had quite a time while I was gone. Then, Joe taught his
class. Gilbert and Danny were both ready for a nap after lunch.
We found out today that a truck may be coming through on Saturday or Monday
to take our big furniture back to Ivory Coast. One of the guys in the
church there knows the owner of a truck that transports cola beans from
Anyama to Nigeria. Then, the truck is empty on the return trip.
This afternoon, we went into town to go grocery shopping and run a couple
other errands.
A demain,

before their return next week. He got a new battery for their vehicle. Then,
he went to get the inspection and the insurance. The inspection here was
nothing compared to the inspections in Ivory Coast. When he pulled up to
the inspection place, the man asked him if his lights worked. Joe said that
they did. The man said, “You pass.” Then, he was on to the next person in
line. It was a big $3 for the inspection.
I worked on sorting our funds for the month as well as getting everything
totaled for the Siekberts before they get back. They have chickens at their
house. So, we have been keeping track of the egg money, church offerings,
etc. for them.
Danny likes to be in the walker. He drops his toys. Gilbert has been
picking up the toys for him. Tonight, Gilbert was playing “peek-a-boo” with
Danny using Danny’s stuffed giraffe. It was cute.
Church went well this evening. There were fifteen in attendance.
