Bonjour!
Today was a power off day. It was rather warm, but we survived.
Joe went to the church for soul winning. No one came. He knew that there wouldn’t be many because some were out of town for various reasons – a funeral, a wedding, etc. So, he went on into town. At one of the stops he made, he discovered that he had an oil leak. So, he went to the mechanic shop. They were able to repair the problem.
Gilbert and I went for a walk to get bread this morning. I thought that we went early enough that it wouldn’t be too hot. But, we were both quite warm by the time we got home. We both drank lots of water.
I did some cleaning in the kitchen this morning while Gilbert took a nap. When he’s tired, he can sleep without a fan or anything. He had been playing in the kitchen. When he got ready for his nap, he came and stood between me and the counter and reached up to me.

Gilbert kept pointing up to the fans and snapping today. He was trying to get them to come on, but it didn’t work.
This afternoon, we went for a drive by the ocean to cool off a little. Before we went home, we stopped at the store to get a couple items.
This evening, Joe gave Gilbert his first haircut with the clippers. He gave him a buzz. He doesn’t have much hair left, but I’m sure it will grow quickly. Then, I gave Joe a haircut.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, and Gilbert
