Bonjour,
Gilbert was up again at 4:00 AM with a fever and and a bad headache. After Joe took Danny and Bonnie to school, we took Gilbert to the doctor. The doctor said that with those symptoms they always treat for malaria. Gilbert started the three-day malaria treatment today. The doctor said that if he is not better by Monday, they would do lab work; but the malaria treatment should take care of it. The fever and headache have come and gone throughout the day.
Danny and Bonnie had a good day at school. Danny said that he wrote his letters just like his teacher wanted him to write them. He did a good job on his homework tonight too.
Joe had a meeting with some of the men at the church tonight. The meeting went well.
Kristine watched Monk with us before she headed downstairs. One phase of our power was off for 36 hours. It was the phase that controls the basement, the water pump, the water heaters, and the kids' air conditioner. It came back on this morning after being off since Sunday night. We were all glad about that. We could actually do laundry today, and the kids were glad to have their AC back tonight.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
