Bonjour,

Today is an official holiday here.  We stayed home and were able to get some things accomplished.  Joe took the cedar cabinets to the bedroom for me.  So, I got all of our clothes moved into those.

Joe had a couple guys come to finish leveling out the area for the swimming pool.  They got the pool all set up this evening.  Gilbert and Danny were outside most of the day “helping.”

The mechanic came and took out all of the clutch parts and the radiator from our vehicle.  They are still looking for a different radiator.

Gilbert was speaking in French to a couple of the guys today.  He was carrying on a conversation was with them.  Joe was shocked when he heard him just talking away.

Danny continues to add to his vocabulary.  He says, “Baby.”  He doesn’t know how soon it will be that he isn’t the baby anymore.  He likes babies.  There is a little boy at church who is about the same age as Danny, but Danny calls him, “Baby” and tries to play with him.  He even calls some kids that are older than he is “baby.”  He likes to touch their faces, and they don’t always like that.  The younger children are usually afraid of white people.

We are headed to Bassam and Bonoua again tomorrow.  Pray for safety on the road and for good contacts in Bonoua.
