Bonjour,
This morning, Joe went to prayer meeting and soul winning.
When Joe left, the kids went outside to wait for the Kadios to come down. I looked out the window to check on them. Bonnie was on the tire swing. Danny was going potty. I asked Danny why he went to the bathroom outside. He said, "I had to, Mom. I was killing ants." I asked if he killed any ants. He said, "Just one, Mom." Boys!!
The Kadios came down to eat breakfast a little after 9:00. They headed out to go to Kumasi around 10:00.
After they left, the kids did their homework. They all had two pages of homework today. Danny is always the last to finish. He gets sidetracked quite easily.
About 11:30, some girls knocked on the door. They were here for Bible Club, which is supposed to start at 4:00. The kids went out to play with them while I got lunch ready. After lunch, we had Bible Club with those girls so that they wouldn't have to wait around all day.
Then, about 2:30, there was another knock at the door. The next group of kids were here for Bible Club. Joe told them that it wasn't until 4:00. They said that they would play outside until then. We went outside about 3:40. There were 23 children. The four girls from earlier in the day were back again. They must have seen the big group of children headed this way and decided to come back. We had a good time. There is one older boy who seems to be "in charge." I asked him if they had time for a game after Bible Club. He said that they should go home because they had already played for an hour before we started. I guess we will have to go out earlier next week and play games first.
Kristine made supper this evening. After supper, she watched a movie with the kids. This is her last weekend to be with us. She will leave next Friday to go back to Ivory Coast. We will miss her!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
