Bonjour,
This e-mail is coming to you a day late. I was too tired to send one last night.
The kids were glad to go to school. Joe said that they laughed all the way to school. When they got to school, all of the kids ran to the playground. Bonnie came running back to say, "Dad, don't forget to pick us up on time." Then, she ran back to the playground.
We were expecting some visitors from Ivory Coast today. They said that they would be here around noon. I made pizza for lunch. We went ahead and ate without them. Kristine called them after lunch and found out that they weren't even at the border yet.
When Joe went to pick the kids up from school, he found out that Bonnie was bad at school. She got a swat from the principal. She would not pay attention in class. We told the kids that if they got swats at school, they would get one at home too. After they got that out of the way, the kids went swimming.
I fed the kids some pizza. We waited to eat supper with the company. They didn't get here until after 8:00. It took two and a half hours at the border to get the car papers for Ghana.
The family that came is Dr. KB, his wife, and son. He is the doctor that Kristine works with in Ivory Coast. Kristine made supper. They are on their way to Kumasi, Ghana. They will stop back by here on their way back through next week. They will spend the night, and then Kristine will go back to Ivory Coast with them.
The kids played together until 10:00 while the adults talked. I had to call it a night at that point.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
