 Bonjour,

Laura is sick again!  Please pray that she will git over all of this junk!!!

I got up early this morning and headed back to where I parked the car.  Brother Widner and a man from his church went with me.

We got a mechanic with a pick up and a tow bar to tow the car to his shop.  It took until about noon to get the head tore down and that is when we realized that the head was CRACKED.  What a disappointment!  The mechanic began to call around and then he gave me three choices.  1. A new motor $8,000 2. A new head $3,000 3. A used head off of a wrecked car $1,400.  I’ll take door number 3 please!

The mechanic ordered the parts from Accra and they were supposed to arrive at 19:00 this evening.  Then he was going to install the head tomorrow so that I can pick it up on Monday morning.  Please pray that all of this works out!

After we got all the details hashed out I called Brother Luther to pick us up.  He drove 90 minutes one way to pick us up!  The Luthers have been such a blessing to us.

Right before Brother Luther arrived at the Widner’s house, Laura started vomiting.  She was a very pale and green all the way home and as soon as she walked in the door she started vomiting again.

The Luthers invited the kids and I up to their house for supper.  It was great!  Mrs. Luther made parmesan egg plant.  I had never had that before and Bonnie and I liked it!  The boys were not too impressed with the egg plant, but they sure did like the rest of the meal.

After supper, we came home, took baths, got a snack, and the kids went right to bed!  They were worn slap out!

Have a GREAT Sunday!

A demain,

Joe, Lo, Gil, DJ, and Boo Pop
