Bonjour,
This morning, Joe took the boys over to stay with Margie. We went with
Lenell up to her apartment to get everyone squared away for the day up
there. Then, we headed to Abidjan.
Lenell didn't get her hair cut last week when we got the highlights
done. The beautician had told her to come back this week to get it
cut. So, we went there first. Joe dropped us off and went and walked
around the golf course that isn't far from the beautician's apartment.
Alima finished styling Lenell's hair and wanted to style mine too. She
even put a little ponytail holder on top of Bonnie's head. It fell out
before we got home; so, I didn't get a picture. Joe got there right as
she had finished.
From there, we headed to the downtown area to take Lenell to look at
stoves. We went to several different places so that she would have an
idea of what is available. One of the stores was closed during lunch
hours. So, we ate lunch at a restaurant that we hadn't tried before.
The food was okay. Then, we went to look at the other store.

Joe tried to take us for a milkshake on the way home. The restaurant
had moved to a different building while the other building is being
renovated. After we got seated, we found out that they didn't have much
to offer in the way of flavors. So, we decided to head on home.
We went back to Lenell's apartment to check on the progress there. The
guys still weren't finished. So, Lenell stayed for a little while
longer. We went back to the house to get the boys. They were happy to
see us. They were just about to take Charlie on a walk with Margie.
So, Bonnie and I joined them. Joe made supper while we were gone.
When Lenell got back this evening, she let the boys come over for a
little while to play with Precious. She will be moving up to her
apartment next week. We will miss having her close by, but she won't be
too far away.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
