Bonjour,

This morning, we all went visiting with Joe. We visited a couple more
of the ladies in the church. Joe drove us to the different stops today
because one of the ladies lives up on the hill behind the church; he
didn't think we'd want to walk that far.

Marina was the first lady that we saw. Her children have been sick.
She said that when one gets better, the next one gets it. She had taken
the baby to the doctor yesterday. Gilbert and Danny like to play with
him; his name is Danny too. Her little girl was sick today. Marina's
neighbors all came out to see the baby. They were tickled that white
people had come to their courtyard.

Marcel wasn't at the church this morning. He usually goes visiting with
Romeo. So, we stopped at his house, but he wasn't home. I met his
parents today. They were so happy that we all came. Marcel's mother
wanted to hold Bonnie, but Bonnie was asleep in her pouch. She didn't
want to wake Bonnie up.

Then, we stopped to see the Kesses. Mr. Kesse still isn't doing very
well. He has lost a lot of weight and still doesn't always make sense
when he is talking. Mrs. Kesse looked very tired. She hasn't been able
to come to church since her husband got sick because she can't leave him
at home by himself. Mr. Kesse hadn't been letting the children come to
church, but some of them were there on Wednesday night.

Danny and Gilbert were tired. So that was the end of our visits for
today. Danny is still working on a tooth and isn't feeling too great today.

The children and I took naps this afternoon. Joe worked in the office.
After naps, the children and I went for a walk with Margie and Lenell.
The boys went to play with Precious for awhile when we got back home.

Thank you for praying for Margie Engelhart's dad. He did get a
pacemaker put in; there weren't any complications the second time. He
is at home now.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
