Bonjour,
This morning, we did school. Some days Danny acts like he doesn't know anything. He said he didn't know any numbers today during school; then, this evening, he counted to 25. He is a mess. Gilbert is working on blends and putting three letter words together. Bonnie picked up Gilbert's number cards, and said, "Gilbert, I'm doing my school. What number is this?"
Joe worked on various projects around here today. He emptied a couple more barrels. There was a problem under the kitchen sink; he fixed that. He is working on another hook-up for a washing machine so that both machines (mine and Jennifer's) can be in the same place right next to the dryer. He and Dan went to the hardware store in Bassam a couple times to get parts. No one ventured into Abidjan today since it is a holiday.
I made pizza for supper. The oven did better this time. I am starting to get it figured out. Joe said that the main problem is that it needs a different regulator on the gas bottle.
We watched part of The Sound of Music tonight. When we were in language school, we got to go to Austria when my sister Emily came to visit. So, we got to see a lot of the places that are on that movie. Joe was telling the kids about it. Danny thought that he meant that we were in the movie. He kept asking where we were.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
