Bonjour,
Yesterday was Ghana’s 54th birthday. Today they observed the holiday. Everything in town was closed. We spent the day at home.
Joe worked on the timing problem on the vehicle and made some progress. He will have to order a new radiator for the vehicle tomorrow. Maybe some day we will get all the kinks worked out.
The kids did school this morning. Bonnie is two, but she pretends to do school with us. She brings her coloring book and says, “Teacher, what should I do today? Will you color with me, Teacher?” She doesn’t call me Mom during school. Gilbert had an allergic reaction this morning and to take Benadryl. He was a bit sleepy during school, but we made it through. Danny starts asking if he can be done before we’ve even finished the first subject.
It was hot today. This afternoon, it was 96 degrees inside the house. Joe said that it got up to almost 120 outside. The kids were all grouchy; they were hot and bothered. So, we all took naps.
Today is Charissa Luther’s birthday. She turned six today. She is just eleven days older than Gilbert. The Luthers invited us and Kristine and Becky for supper and cake and icecream tonight. We had a good time of fellowship. The kids had fun playing and watching Dumbo.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
