Bonjour,
Kristine got up to tell the kids goodbye before they left for school. Danny almost cried, but she told him that we will see her again in Ivory Coast.
Gilbert went back to school today. He said that everyone was happy to see him; people asked him all day how he was doing. Danny and Bonnie went too. They all had a good day.
Kristine, Becky, and the Kadios left at 9:00. About thirty minutes later, they were back; they had taken the key with them to the guest room. They called when they got to the border. We heard from Kristine tonight that they made it to Ivory Coast safely.
I worked on retyping the church constitution this morning. Joe is going through it during Sunday school and wanted to pass out copies.
When the kids got home from school, Joe took them swimming. I made pizza for supper. Bonnie came into the kitchen and said, "What can I do for you, Mom? Can I set up the table?" She set the table all by herself. One of the boys started to come into the kitchen. She told them that she was helping Mom and that they should stay out of the kitchen until supper was ready.
The kids were glad that they didn't have to do their homework tonight. On Friday nights, they get to play and save their homework for Saturday morning.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
