Bonjour,
We didn't get an e-mail sent yesterday. I came down with a migraine last night. So, I'll catch you up on Sunday before telling about today.
It rained all night Saturday night and was still raining on Sunday morning. We had one combined class for the children and one for the adults. Kristine and a couple of the other teachers did Sunday school for the kids. Joe taught the adult class. For church, I did junior church. More kids had come by that time; so, we had two children's classes. I had twelve in my class. Kristine helped me because the normal helper was not there. Joe preached to the adults. We ended up with about forty people by there by the end of the morning service.
We had lunch and took naps. Then, we headed back to church again. I had a bad headache but went on to church. By the time we got home, I was vomiting. I did not keep anything down all night. The vomiting finally subsided this morning about 6:00.
Kristine made supper last night and then made some blondie brownies with the kids. She said that when she dumped the powdered sugar in the bowl, the kids were impressed because they thought that it looked like a sand castle. Kristine offered to cook the meals today. I rested most of the day and am feeling much better this evening. I think Kristine is worn out; she said that it is hard work being a mother. : )
It rained most of the morning again today. The kids played outside in the rain. My last words before they went out the door were, "Don't get muddy." Playing in the rain and not getting muddy don't mix! They had to head straight to the bath tub when they were done playing. Danny had mud on his face. I asked him how that happened. Gilbert said, "I baptized him, Mom."
Joe ran some errands this morning. After naps, he took the kids swimming for a little while.
After supper, we just took it easy. The kids never actually went to sleep at nap time; they were all ready for bed early tonight.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
