After the kids went to bed tonight, Gilbert came out of their bedroom and said, "Dad, Danny is crying because he wants to get saved. He came over to my bed and said, 'Gilbert, I just need to be saved.'" Both boys came back out in the living room. Joe talked to Danny first. He seemed to understand everything and answered all of Joe's questions. After Danny prayed asking Jesus to come into his heart, Gilbert said, "I've been waiting to get saved for such a long time." Joe then talked to Gilbert. He also understood and answered all of of Joe's questions. He prayed and asked Jesus to come into his heart. Danny said, "Gilbert, now we just need to tell Bonnie." We told them that we would keep talking to Bonnie for a while to make sure she understands. They were both all smiles as they headed back to bed. The bedroom door opened once more. Gilbert said, "Now all we need to do is get baptized!" Both boys share the same spiritual birthday! What a blessing! Gilbert is six, and Danny is 4.
