W'apow mu e,

Our power went off at 6:00 this morning.  It came back on at 3:00 this afternoon.  We thought they might bypass our load shedding tonight.  But, they didn't.  It went off promptly at 6:30.

Joe took the kids to school.  Then, we went into town to do some grocery shopping and bulk shopping.

We are having company on Friday night.  I am going to make lasagna.  We have some cheese making supplies here but had not attempted to make any cheese up to this point.  This afternoon, we decided to try to make some ricotta cheese for the lasagna.  To make ricotta, you have to have whey.  So, we attempted to make mozzarella.  The book warned us that most people fail on their first attempt to make mozzarella.  Ours was a failure.  But, we still had the whey to make the ricotta. The ricotta turned out good.  We'll have to try making mozzarella again another day.

Joe brought the kids home from school.  Then, he and Dan went to pay the church property tax. When Joe got back, we had supper and got ready for church.

On the way to church tonight, Danny told us that his eyes got sour at school today.  We asked him how your eyes get sour.  He explained that his eyes were hurting; so, he closed them a few times, and then they felt better.  Danny has a cold, and Gilbert seems to be catching it too.

We had another candlelight service tonight since the power was off.  It was a bit warm, but we made it through.  Three ladies who have not been on Wednesday night in a while came tonight.  We had thirteen in attendance.
