Bonjour,
This morning, Joe and Dan went into Bassam to get money. They were able to get what they needed out of the ATM and didn't have to go to Abidjan. They did some market shopping and then came back home.
We did school this morning. The boys were both complaining about how many pages they had to do. I told Danny that he had more pages today because he didn't do them all yesterday. He said, "Oh." He had forgotten about that. Gilbert has started doing some addition. For some reason, he thinks that anything plus one equals one. At supper tonight, he said, "I don't like Math." We told him that he had to know Math to be able to do lots of things. Joe told him that he needed to know Math so that he could read the tape measure and work in Papa's wood shop. Gilbert said, "I can build anything I want."
Gilbert got to watch a movie with the Post boys this afternoon instead of taking a nap, but he had to wait until Danny and Bonnie went to sleep. He was excited about that.
We had a quiet evening at home. For some reason, the past few nights Bonnie has decided that she doesn't want to sleep in her bed. But, she has to anyway. She has a heat rash, and I think it bothers her at night.
Gbagbo is now saying that he is willing to talk with Ouattara. The only things he is requesting are amnesty and exile. Ouattara had refused giving him those things previously, but maybe they will come to some sort of agreement.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
