Bonjour,
This is Joe typing again! I know, more bad grammar and a few spelling mistakes and typos. Deal with it! 8o)
We went to church this morning, and had a great Sunday School hour. Brother Arthur, who I taught in Bible Institute in 2006-2007, is a very good teacher and it is funny to hear him use examples that I used when I taught.
Then the main church service and Brother and I had to deal with a problem that arose in the announcements. People can be so sneaky and deceptive! Needless to say, I don’t think very many people got very much out of the message this morning. The devil is a sly old serpent. This morning I was reminded of that 7 foot green mamba we killed yesterday. He was so deceptive and cunning that he was able to slither right up to a bird and strike before the bird flew away. We always have to be ready to resist the devil at a moments notice!
We had fajitas for lunch, Lo can really turn out the Mexican food!
Church this evening went fine! Praise the Lord!
When we got home from church, Lo said that she had a head ache so she went on to bed. I listened to a Bible Story on CD with the kids and then got them ready for bed and all tucked in for the night.
Now I’ve got to pack because Brother Luther and I have got to go to Accra to pick up some missionary ladies that are flying in from the States. They are part of Bob Mach’s team of nurses in the Ivory Coast, Becky Pope just finished deputation and language school and Kristine McLaughlin who is returning to the field after the death of her father. Please pray for them as they get set up here in Ghana to wait for the war in Ivory Coast to end. I know they will be a big blessing to the ministry here in Ghana. Ivory Coast’s loss is Ghana’s gain!
Pray for Lo and the kids while I am away until Wednesday.
A demain,
Joe, Lo, Gil, DJ, and Boo
