Bonjour,

Joe and Charlie left a little before 6:00 this morning to go to Accra.  They got there about 11:00.  They ate lunch and then did some grocery shopping.  Tomorrow, Charlie’s car will be in the shop.  So, they were trying to get the shopping out of the way today.  Kristine and Becky fly into Accra tomorrow afternoon.  They will stay at a guest house on Tuesday night and come back on Wednesday morning so that they won’t have to drive at night.

The boys did school this morning.  They wanted to take a break after their first subject, but we kept going.  After school, they played outside with the Luther kids until lunch time.

We tried to take naps.  The boys never did go to sleep.  I gave myself a haircut this afternoon.  It turned out good, I think.  Gilbert was coaching me when I was working on the back.

I forgot to tell a story about the boys the other night.  On Saturday night, the boys got haircuts.  Joe cut the boys’ hair, and then I cut Joe’s.  While I was cutting Joe’s, Danny said, “Gilbert, Daddy looks bald like Papa.”  Gilbert said, “Mom, you scalloped him!”  (He meant scalped.)  It wasn’t all that bad!

We are watching Tinkerbell in the dark.  Danny wanted to turn the lights out so that he could see his glow-in-the-dark underwear.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
