Bonjour,
We got some hot chocolate in a package. Danny wanted some for breakfast. So, I introduced them to cocoa and toast, an old favorite of mine. Danny and Bonnie were not too impressed with the dipping of the toast into the cocoa, but Gilbert thought it was great.
Becky and Kristine did not make their connecting flights due to bad weather. So, they won’t arrive until Thursday. Joe and Charlie will be in Accra a little longer than planned.
We did school this morning. I got a couple loads of laundry done. It looked like it might rain, but it never did. So, the clothes got dry.
Everyone rested this afternoon. Then, we went up to the Luthers’ house for supper. Julie thought I might enjoy some adult conversation since Joe is gone. We had a good time of fellowship.
This evening, we have been cleaning the house. The kids picked up in the living room. Then, Gilbert wanted to scrub spots on the carpet. That turned into all three of the kids scrubbing spots on the floor. Then, we needed to mop. Now, it is bed time.
The Litsons and the three single ladies made it to the airport in Abidjan this afternoon. They should be in the air right now.
Mrs. Todd will have surgery tomorrow. She broke her femur and not her hip; so, the recovery time won’t be as long. She will be in the hospital for five days after the surgery.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
