Bonjour,
Joe spent another day at the mechanic. They needed to replace one more spring. Then, they had to make some adjustments on the brakes. He will have to take it somewhere else on Friday to get the fuel injectors adjusted.
The power went off this morning for about an hour. Joe kept trying to call and couldn’t get through; so, he figured the power was off. The breaker outside had tripped. I had checked it, but I didn’t know exactly what I was supposed to do. Joe called the Litsons to see if the power was off. Sarah told him that it had just come back on. He tried to call again and couldn’t get through. So, he decided to come home for lunch and check the breaker at the same time. Miraculously, when he got home, the power came back on! : )
Yesterday, a man in the church had stopped by the mechanic’s place to invite Joe for lunch. They had cow hoof and atchike. That man came again about lunch time; that was another reason why he decided to come home for lunch. He discovered that cow hoof is not one of his favorite dishes!
Our missions conference started this evening. Jeanette, the national pastor’s wife, and I sang a special. We had good services. There were seven missionaries there tonight. Two were from Burkina Faso, and the others are serving in different places in Ivory Coast.
I volunteered to make pizza for lunch for the missionaries tomorrow. So, I finished those up tonight after church. Joe is going to Bingerville tomorrow to help Bob Mach transport the group of men to go souvenir shopping and then to the airport. So, Joe will drop the pizzas off at the church before he heads to Bingerville.
Danny is feeling much better today. Thank you for praying for him.
